District 27 District Attorney Jack Thorp is committed to supporting law enforcement in their endeavor to solve crimes – no matter how long ago they were committed.

Image of Vicky Lyons, retired OSBI agentAs part of that commitment, Thorp commissioned retired Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent Vicky Lyons to coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and take a fresh look at unsolved cases. The partnership is already bearing fruit, with new evidence and witnesses leading to promising leads.

Image of Vicky Lyons, retired OSBI agent A 20-year veteran of the OSBI, Lyons investigated and solved major crimes throughout the state. Prior to signing on as a special agent, Lyons served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps. She earned her bachelors degree in criminal justice from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and attended the United States Army Criminal Investigations School, the Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy and the OSBI Academy.
