Oklahoma’s District 27 is comprised of Adair, Cherokee, Sequoyah and Wagoner Counties.

The DA’s offices –  including divisions for bogus check prosecution and restitution, child support and the District 27 Drug Task Force – are located in each of the four county courthouses.

The Bogus Check office for all four counties is located in Wagoner, the Child Support office is located in Sequoyah County and serves Sequoyah and Adair counties. The Drug Task Force serves all four counties from offices in various locations within the district.

Fifty-eight dedicated staffers work diligently to ensure the office of the district attorney delivers on its vision, mission and core values. This website provides contact information to those team members who most often meet the public we serve.

The mission of the District Attorney’s Office is to lead our communities in the fight for justice and public safety through the fair, equal, efficient and vigorous prosecution of criminals and protection of victims’ rights. We envision that our office, through cooperative efforts with the public and other agencies tasked with public safety, will provide a criminal justice system in which all of the citizens in our district can hold their trust.


More than 60 staff members serve District 27 from offices in Adair, Cherokee, Sequoyah and Wagoner Counties. Led by District Attorney Jack Thorp and his experienced team of legal professionals, employees work to build bridges between this office and the community, our partners in law enforcement, and other agencies in the relentless pursuit of justice.

Our goal is to make our communities safer places to live through education, crime prevention and protection of the innocent. Each of our offices vigorously advocates for victims, providing a level of prosecution that’s most appropriate and beneficial to those who are impacted most.
